AVP – Risk and Support Functions Technologies

Job PurposeThe AVP – Risk and Support Functions Technologies is responsible for leading the strategic planning, development, and management of all technology platforms supporting the Risk, Compliance, Finance, Credit, and Support Functions domains. This role drives end-to-end delivery of technology solutions, ensuring system efficiency, integration, and alignment with organisational goals, while fostering innovation through automation and AI-driven initiatives.Key ResponsibilitiesLead application management for all platforms and systems supporting Risk and Support Functions, including but not limited to IFRS9, ALM, Basel III, Application & Decision Scorecards, Fraud Management, Collections, GRC, SharePoint, DMS, BPM, Automation, and RPA technologies.Oversee engineering delivery of large-scale transformation programs within the Risk and Support Functions technology domain.Ensure seamless integration of related platforms with enterprise-wide systems and applications.Drive adoption and optimisation of automation and AI-based tools across departments, ensuring teams are trained for effective use.Design and implement AI-powered compliance solutions to streamline processes, enhance efficiency, and provide data-driven insights.Collaborate with internal stakeholders to implement intelligent automation across various business functions, including Risk, Operations, Finance, and HR.Lead cross-functional technology teams, ensuring project delivery within scope, budget, and timeline.Prepare and present project updates, progress reports, and strategic plans to senior leadership.Manage vendor relationships to ensure high-quality, cost-effective delivery aligned with project goals.Perform any additional responsibilities or tasks assigned by the reporting manager as required.Job Complexity / Decision-MakingAbility to strategise and execute technology initiatives that align with departmental goals.Skilled in managing multiple complex projects simultaneously under tight deadlines.Strong problem-solving and analytical skills to identify challenges and propose effective technology solutions.Capable of building and maintaining strong stakeholder relationships at all levels of the organization.If you are interested in this opportunity, please apply directly to the position or send me your updated CV via DM.
