Cashier

We are seeking a friendly and reliable Cashier to join our Restaurant Team. The Cashier will be responsible for handling customer transactions accurately and efficiently while providing excellent customer service. This position plays a vital role in creating a positive shopping experience for our customers. Key ResponsibilitiesGreet customers warmly and respond to their inquiries. Operate cash registers, scanners, and other point-of-sale equipment. Handle cash, credit/debit cards, and mobile transactions. Ensure the accurate processing of purchases and returns. Issue receipts, refunds, or change as needed. Maintain a clean and organized checkout area.

Balance the cash register at the beginning and end of shifts. Follow store procedures for handling coupons, discounts, and loyalty programs. Assist with bagging merchandise and helping customers with their purchases. Alert management to any suspicious behavior or discrepancies in transactions. Perform basic stocking and housekeeping duties as needed. QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent preferred. Previous cashier or customer service experience is a plus. Basic math and computer skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks. Dependable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
