The Director of Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) is responsible for leading budgeting, forecasting, and financial performance analysis across designated business units or service lines. This role partners closely with operational and executive stakeholders to provide insights that drive data-informed decision making. The Director leads financial modeling efforts, delivers key performance reports, and supportsenterprise planning processes to help advance Axia Women’s Health’s operational and strategic goals. Essential Functions:
Manage the annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting process for assigned service lines, departments, or corporate functions. Develop and maintain financial models to support scenario planning, profitability analysis, investment evaluations, and strategic decision-making. Lead monthly financial reviews, including preparation of variance reports, explanations, and actionable recommendations in partnership with business leaders. Partner with the Analytics and IT teams to ensure the availability and accuracy of financial data, dashboards, and reporting tools. Support M&A integration activities by building post-close financial models, tracking synergies, and assisting in reporting transitions.
Collaborate with the accounting team during the month-end close to ensure accurate accruals and timely financial reporting. Prepare financial reports and presentations for senior leadership; contribute to Board-level materials where appropriate. Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and benchmark performance against internal targets and market comparisonsIdentify process improvement opportunities in planning, reporting, and modeling; implement enhancements in collaboration with cross-functional partners. Provide guidance and mentorship to junior FP&A team members and foster a high-performance, collaborative finance culture. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPointExperience with data visualization tools (e. g. , Tableau, Power BI, Spotlight, Planful ) and financial systems (e. g. , Great Plains, Adaptive Insights, NetSuite, Workday)Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data and present key insightsExcellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to tailor financial information for non-financial audiencesStrong project and time management skills; able to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlinesCollaborative and team-oriented, with a high degree of accountability and initiativeExperience/Education:
