💼 We're Hiring: EUC Field Services – Desktop Support EngineerAre you a hands-on problem solver with a passion for technology and user support? We’re looking for a Desktop Support Engineer to join our field services team in Oslo, Norway, delivering high-quality, on-site IT support for one of our global clients. 🛑 Please note: This role is open to candidates with the legal right to work in Norway. 🖥️ About the RoleAs a key member of our EUC field support team, you will provide end-user desktop support, troubleshoot infrastructure and software issues, and ensure optimal uptime of client devices.

This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic, enterprise-scale environment. 📍 LocationOslo, Norway – Onsite role with potential travel or extended support requirements. 🗣️ Language RequirementsFluency in Norwegian (spoken and written) is required, along with good working proficiency in English. 🔧 Your Key ResponsibilitiesDeliver day-to-day hands-on desktop support services at the client location. Troubleshoot hardware, software, and OS-related issues for laptops, desktops, and printers. Provide support for VPN, RDP, and remote access tools. Install and configure desktops, peripherals, and network devices. Deliver “Smart Hands” support for networking and server hardware (switches, routers, racks, etc. ).

Assist with imaging, patching, and software distribution (via SCCM or similar tools). Support end-users with mobile devices and basic MDM tools (AirWatch, MobileIron, etc. ). Participate in problem management and root cause analysis. Follow ITIL-based practices to meet SLAs and resolve tickets in ServiceNow or Remedy. Assist in inventory audits, asset tagging, and reporting. Collaborate with onshore and offshore teams for escalations and project rollouts. 👨‍💼 What We’re Looking For3–5 years of proven IT desktop or field support experience. Strong knowledge of Windows OS, desktop/laptop hardware, and enterprise environments. Basic networking skills (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, LAN/WAN).

Good understanding of security tools (anti-virus/anti-malware). Familiarity with enterprise tools like SCCM, OneDrive, Skype for Business, and VDI. Ability to lift/move equipment up to 50 lbs. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Strong problem-solving mindset and ability to work independently. Associate degree in IT or Electronics preferred.
