The university is committed to maintaining an inclusive and respectful online community. Role Description This is a full-time on-site role located in Gonder. The role requires managing and maintaining the UoG social media channels, engaging with the community, posting regular updates, and ensuring that content aligns with the university’s values and goals. The role involves monitoring and moderating comments to maintain a respectful environment, as well as collaborating with various departments to highlight events, news, and research activities. Qualifications Social media management and community engagement skillsProficiency in content creation, editing, and posting updatesExcellent written and verbal communication skillsFamiliarity with university operations and eventsAbility to work independently and manage multiple tasksRespectful and inclusive attitude towards all community membersBachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, or a related field
