Azure Administrator

About the RoleWe are seeking a highly motivated Azure Administrator to join our cloud operations team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Microsoft Azure IaaS and PaaS, with hands-on experience in virtual machines, storage, networking, and security administration. This role requires a detail-oriented professional capable of supporting large-scale cloud infrastructures and ensuring performance, reliability, and compliance across Azure environments.ResponsibilitiesAdminister and monitor Azure environments including Virtual Machines (Windows/Linux), Storage Accounts, and Networking components.Manage Azure Active Directory (AAD): user accounts, access controls, security groups, and permissions.Configure and maintain Network Security Groups (NSGs), VPN Gateways, Load Balancers, and Application Gateways for secure, high-performing connectivity.Oversee data migrations and disaster recovery processes, ensuring data integrity and business continuity.Utilize Azure CLI, PowerShell, and Portal for automation, resource management, and troubleshooting.Implement storage encryption, replication, and access management using Azure Key Vault and other security tools.Collaborate with internal teams to optimize workflows, system performance, and incident response times.Provide documentation, technical reports, and best practices for system administration and cloud maintenance.Qualifications3+ years of experience in Azure administration or related cloud operations.Proven experience managing Azure IaaS and PaaS resources (VMs, Storage, Networking, AD DS, Key Vault, NSGs).Strong knowledge of Windows Server environments, SQL Server, and Active Directory management.Proficiency in Azure CLI, PowerShell, and cloud monitoring tools.Understanding of network protocols, firewalls, and VPNs.Familiarity with Microsoft 365, Intune, Exchange Online, and SharePoint administration is a plus.Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills in complex environments.Advanced English level (C1) – both written and verbal communication skills are required.Preferred CertificationsMicrosoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals (AZ-900)Microsoft Certified: Security, Compliance, and Identity Fundamentals (SC-900) – in progress or completed.CCNA or equivalent networking certification is a plus.Soft SkillsStrong communication and teamwork abilities.Adaptable, proactive, and able to handle pressure effectively.Customer-oriented mindset with exceptional service attitude.Fast learner with a focus on continuous improvement
