Who are we looking for?We are currently looking for a highly experienced and disciplined Licenced Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (Mechanical & Avionics) to join our team in Perth, WA. If you’re a proactive, flexible and experienced professional with a drive to succeed, you’re the type of person we would like to welcome onboard.Your roleIn This Role, Your Key Responsibilities Will IncludeDismantling, inspecting, testing, repairing and reassembling aircraft engines, ancillary components, accessories, and electrical systems;Conducting routine pre–flight checks and inspections of engines and equipment;Maintaining thorough records of actions taken; Assembling components, parts and subassemblies of aircraft engines and equipment, and;Testing, maintaining, replacing, and upgrading aircraft safety equipment.The essential requirements3+ years experience on General Aviation aircraft;Trade Certificate IV (Mechanical or Avionics) & CASA or EASA Licenced;Highly skilled and competent in aircraft mechanical system troubleshooting, repair and installation of mechanical components.Strong team player;Ability to follow supervisory direction;Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;Consistent positive and proactive attitude;Passion for safe work practices;Red ASIC card (or ability to obtain);Current Australian Driver's licence; andValid work visaAdditional qualificationsWe are specifically looking for candidates capable of committing to flexible working arrangements; further, please ensure that you are eligible and available to work in Perth, WA before applying.What's in it for you?RoleAt Sigma, we place our people at the heart of everything we do.
