Back End Developer

Role Description This is a full-time on-site position located in Tokyo, Japan, for a Back End Developer. In this role, you will design, implement, and maintain the server-side logic supporting applications, ensuring efficient and scalable data processing and system integration. You will collaborate closely with front-end developers, troubleshoot and optimize back-end performance, and implement APIs to enhance functionality across platforms. Responsibilities also include maintaining data security and system integrity while adhering to best practices in software development. Qualifications Strong expertise in Back-End Web Development and Software DevelopmentProficient in Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) and general Programming principlesExposure to Front-End Development and experience working with front-end teamsAbility to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to deliver efficient solutionsExperience with cloud platforms and database management is a plusBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related fieldExcellent problem-solving skills and familiarity with Agile methodologiesProficiency in Japanese and English preferred
