We have team members located in 5 different countries, creating a diverse and dynamic global environment.Responsibilities:Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using Node.js, JavaScript, and TypeScript leveraging frameworks such as Fastify or ExpressBuild and manage RESTful APIs (and optionally GraphQL APIs) to power high-performance applicationsCollaborate closely with frontend, DevOps, and product teams to deliver reliable and maintainable solutionsApply clean code principles and modular architecture patterns to ensure maintainability and scalabilityOptimize backend systems for performance, reliability, and scalabilityDeploy, monitor, and manage services on AWS (e.g., Lambda, ECS, S3)Maintain high code quality through code reviews, automated testing, and adherence to best practicesParticipate in architecture design and technical decision-making processesRequirements:5+ years of professional experience as a Backend DeveloperStrong proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScriptDeep experience with Node.js and frameworks such as Fastify or ExpressProven experience in building and maintaining production-grade systems on AWSSolid understanding of both SQL (especially MySQL, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB)Strong understanding of software architecture patterns, particularly Hexagonal Architecture (Ports & Adapters)Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, AWS ECS/EKS)Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skillsGood command of English, both spoken and written - you’ll be working in an international environmentNice to Have:Experience with microservices architectureKnowledge of event-driven systems (e.g., AWS SNS/SQS, Kafka)At Justsnap, we know that our greatest strength is our people.
