Back-End Developer (On-site, Ankara)PixelByte is a fast-growing product studio building AI-powered mobile and web apps used globally. We’re looking for a Back-End Developer with 3+ years of experience, based in Ankara, open to full on-site work, fluent in English and comfortable with flexible hours in a fast-paced environment to help power the next generation of our products.What You’ll Work OnHigh-traffic API services with Node.js + ExpressScalable NoSQL models on Firestore / MongoDB / DynamoDBAdvanced backend logic in Python (OOP, threading, multiprocessing, Flask/FastAPI)Secure integrations: Stripe, RevenueCat, Adapty, AI APIs, webhooksCaching, rate limiting, distributed locks with Redis / ValkeyAPI security, JWT/Bearer token management, refresh-token flows, role-based access control (RBAC), and secure authentication practicesBasic AI pipelines using PyTorch, OpenCV, DiffusersCI/CD, containerization, loggingCloudflare R2 + CDNDevelopment and deployment on Google CloudFast prototyping with AI coding agents (Claude Code, Cursor, Copilot)What We’re Looking For3+ years of back-end development experienceStrong experience with Node.js & ExpressSolid understanding of NoSQL data modelsDeep Python knowledge (async, OOP, performance)Experience with Redis / ValkeyPractical use of PyTorch/OpenCV/DiffusersGood awareness of API security and system performanceBasic DevOps (Docker, logs, monitoring)Familiarity with Cloudflare productsKnowledge of Google Cloud is a big plusExperience with Clerk authentication is a plusNice to HaveExperience with LLMs or diffusion modelsPrompt engineering or fine-tuningLarge-scale system experienceMobile app backend architectureWhat You Can Expect at PixelByteDirect involvement in shaping products used by global audiencesClose collaboration with engineering, product, and growth teamsOn-site teamwork in Ankara with a supportive, learning-focused cultureSpace to experiment with AI tools and workflows forwardPrivate health insurance to support your well-beingMeal card provided monthly for daily comfortEquipment support to ensure you have the tools you need to do your best work
