What You’ll Do As a Backend DeveloperYou won’t just write code. You’ll architect solutions, shape features, mentor junior devs, and co-create in an Agile environment that’s fast-paced, supportive, and full of opportunity.Here’s What Your Day-to-day Could IncludeCollaborating with fellow devs and PMs on high-impact, technically challenging projectsDesigning, building and refining backend features using Node.js and TypeScriptCreating secure, scalable APIs and SDKs for public useImproving performance, refactoring legacy systems, and moving us toward a microservices architecturePioneering the smart use of AI in everything that we doMentoring peers and reviewing code (pull/merge requests)Partnering with clients and integrating with their systems to become a key part of their data value chainPushing code that meets our high bar for security, performance, and maintainability🧠 What we’re looking forWe know no one ticks every box, but if you’re nodding along, we want to talk:3–5 years of hands-on experience as a Backend DeveloperExtensive experience in Node.js (TypeScript)Proficient with SQL/NoSQL databases like PostgreSQL, Elastic, etcGood understanding of asynchronous programmingComfortable with authentication and authorisation flows between multiple systems, servers, and environmentsStrong grasp of Git (GitLab, GitHub) and CI/CD principlesAwareness of accessibility and GDPR best practicesFluent in English and FrenchPassionate about code.
