We combine research-based optimizations with cutting-edge AR technology to create practical, reliable, and high-performance solutions that reshape industries.This internship offers a rare opportunity to build backend systems that directly power advanced AR applications used in real-world industrial environments.Role Overview:We’re looking for a passionate, detail-oriented Backend Developer Intern with a strong interest in API development, system integration, and backend architecture.This is a remote, hands-on role where you will work closely with experienced developers to design, implement, and maintain backend services that support our AR platforms.While this is initially unpaid, exceptional performance may lead to a paid position after the internship.What You’ll Do:Develop APIs: Build and maintain high-performance REST APIs using Node.js and Express.js.Database Management: Work with PostgreSQL and ORM tools (Sequelize) to design and optimize database schemas.System Integrations: Assist in integrating backend services with AR platforms and machine learning pipelines.Testing & Quality Assurance: Write and run unit and integration tests to ensure stability and performance.DevOps Support: Learn to work with AWS cloud infrastructure and contribute to maintaining scalable, secure environments.Troubleshooting & Maintenance: Help debug, patch, and optimize backend systems to improve reliability.Code Reviews: Participate in peer reviews to maintain code quality and follow industry best practices.Required Skills:Proficiency in Node.js and Express.jsSolid JavaScript & TypeScript skillsExperience with PostgreSQL (basic to intermediate)Familiarity with AWS services (some training provided)Understanding of Git (we use Bitbucket)Basic knowledge of CI/CD pipelinesAwareness of IT security fundamentals(Bonus) Experience with Sequelize ORMWhat You’ll Gain:Hands-on experience building backend systems for real-world AR applicationsExposure to AWS-based scalable architecturesExperience with industrial-grade API design, testing, and securityInvolvement in a live product launchIf you’re excited about this opportunity and eager to learn, please send your resume outlining your interest in the position.
