Backend QA Engineer

We are looking for a skilled Backend QA Engineer to join our Core Engineering team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in backend API testing, performance testing, and integration testing between backend systems and frontend applications. The role involves ensuring reliability and performance of backend services while identifying bottlenecks across layers.Design and execute test plans and test cases for backend APIs and microservicesPerform manual and automated testing of RESTful APIs using tools like Postman, Selenium, or KatalonConduct load testing, stress testing, and performance benchmarking using tools such as JMeter or LocustCollaborate with Android, iOS, and backend developers to perform end-to-end integration testingImplement automated regression tests and document test results and prepare clear, actionable QA report Requirements3-5 years of experience as a QA Engineer, with a focus on backend/API testingStrong hands-on experience with Postman, Selenium, or KatalonExperience with performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, Gatling, Locust)Understanding of HTTP protocols, REST APIs, and websocketsStrong debugging and analytical skills to isolate backend vs. frontend issuesKnowledge of SQL and basic database validation is a plusFamiliarity with Python or JavaScript-based testing frameworksExposure to Cloud environments (AWS/GCP) for environment-based testingUnderstanding of monitoring tools like Grafana or Prometheus.
