Portfolio Manager, You WillServes high net worth and institutional clients within Baird Trust CompanyOngoing tasks include portfolio management, client service and investment review meetings, business development calls and serving on the Investment CommitteeDevelop satisfied clients through frequent contact for portfolios/relationships of a substantial size and complexityConsult with major client relationships to develop investment objectives and implement a suitable investment plan and maintain an Investment Policy Statement for each relationshipInvest assets according to investment policy guidelines to deliver a competitive rate of return within the given level of riskWorking with Trust Administration interpret the intentions of the trust or agency agreement and build an investment policy to accomplish those objectivesWorking with Financial Consultants/Relationship Managers, participate in the development of new business opportunities by meeting with prospects, preparing and presenting proposals for investment managementKeep informed of market trends and analyze the effect of these trends on client investment portfoliosFollow established investment policies and procedures including annual account reviews and working to minimize and/or document exceptionsWhat We Look ForKnowledge of global equity and fixed income markets along with knowledge of global economic conditionsFamiliarity with fiduciary principles and prudent investment conceptsGeneral understanding of the tax codeMaintain awareness of new investment strategies, techniques and products through regular contact with other industry professionals and through internal and external researchPreparing and delivering clear, effective, and professional presentations.
