In this role, you will execute standard processes and procedures for warehouse and yard activities. You will be responsible for receiving, storage, yard management, preservation, physical inventory verification, accuracy and the delivery of inventory to internal and external customers. As Warehouse & Yard Supervisor, you will be responsible for:

Complying with HSE and Quality policies and actively participating in relevant programs to ensure safetyLiaising with relevant teams as required to ensure on time delivery and shipmentsReviewing warehouse and yard throughput and efficiency through identifying opportunities, investigating, developing and executing action plansOptimizing workflow and delivering as outlined in local service level agreement to ensure flawless executionManaging physical inventory and asset verification and ensuring properly trained personnel are in place to perform tasksFostering a positive, respectful and inclusive work environment and providing coaching to team in areas of competenceFuel your passionTo be successful in this role you will:

Have an Apprenticeship with relevant warehousing / logistics experienceHave proven people leader skillsBe proficient in SAP and ExcelHave experience with 6S and Lean – Execute 6S (Sort, Set in Order, Shine, Standardize, Sustain and Safety)Have problem-solving, analytical, communication, leadership, coaching and mentoring skillsWork in a way that works for youWe recognize that everyone is different and that the way in which people want to work and deliver at their best is different for everyone.
