ABOUT THE ROLEPositionWe are looking for enthusiastic, hard working and appropriately qualified individuals to join Council's Open Spaces and Reserves team.
Reporting to the Supervisor, this position is responsible for overseeing a small team in the execution of general horticultural maintenance programs in accordance with specified budgets, Council regulations, and relevant standards. To be successful you will bringBehaviour that positively demonstrates Council's values of: creative, accessible, respect, energetic and safe. Certificate III in Horticulture (or equivalent) and relevant work experience in the field. Demonstrated experience in the supervision of staff, with the ability to lead and motivate a team. Proven good communication skills, both oral and written. Demonstrated experience and ability to perform a range of physical labouring duties.
Class C driver licence with the ability to operate manual transmission and a good and safe driving record. Current Chemical Application certificate.
