The Project Officer is primary responsible for project management, system support, and system administration of IT-related projects of Global Markets to ensure effective, timely and quality delivery of projects and system enhancement requests, thereby resulting in efficient management of the bank’s global (onshore and offshore) treasury related activities. Core Responsibilities:
Monitors the progress of the project to ensure timely project delivery and completion of each phase of the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC)Conducts milestone reviews of each phase of the SDLC to identify critical issues that warrant top management resolution, Ensures the availability of project resource requirements and that all concerned units/stakeholders are represented in the project team, Participates in the Requirements and Pre-Implementation Project Review Committee (PRC) to seek approval to proceed with system development and project implementation respectively, and Presents the project’s budget requirements to CAPEX for approval Performs system and user acceptance testing to ensure that all systemfunctionalities are in accordance with the users’ specifications and basic system controls are in compliance with the prescribed control standards, Formulates and prepares the project documentation requirements such as policies and procedures (as needed) to serve as guide of all system/product users, security access rights and risk assessment Consolidates and safe keeps the signed-off documents (i.
e. PRC documents, use cases, policies, procedures, user manuals, work instructions, System Access Rights (SAR) documents, Risk Assessment documents, etc. ) for assigned projects Handles and facilitates first-level support for any system related production problems including third-party application systems to ensure business as usual operationsProvides business users the required assistance System Administration: Implements, monitors and reviews the definition and maintenance of data and users’ access to the system by acting as the system administrator (data and/or access) Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Engineering, Information Technology or Computer ScienceAdditional Information:
Graduate-level certificate program in one of these disciplines is preferredAt least two years of experience in Project Management, Product Development, IT Audit, Technology and Policy Formulation/Review
