The Department Head for the South Branches leads and manages facilities operations across all regional branch and site locations to ensure safe, functional, and compliant environments that support smooth business operations. This role directs and coordinates site visits, oversees the resolution of reported issues through Facilities Management System (Maximo), and manages service providers conducting both preventive and corrective maintenance. By providing strategic guidance to area Team Leads, the Department Head drives operational efficiency, maximizes resource utilization, and promotes a culture of continuous improvement.
Responsibilities Provide leadership and direction to Facilities Managers (FMs) across branches to ensure alignment with organizational goals, consistent service delivery, and professional standards Coordinate with Area Business Directors, Corporate Officers, and key stakeholders to support the implementation of facilities-related projects, initiatives, and branch operational requirements Oversee manpower deployment and service quality, ensuring all branches are properly staffed with janitors and handymen, and that site procedures and contractor performance meet defined standards based on the agreed SLAs Conduct monthly operational reviews and team meetings to monitor service requests team performance, preventive maintenance, safety, and housekeeping activities, driving continuous improvement and accountability Implement strategic facilities plans and identify efficiency opportunities, while mentoring Facilities Managers to support their career development and strengthen overall team capability QualificationsBachelor’s degree in engineering or related disciplines5 years relevant experience in Financial Services/ Technical and EngineeringMust have Facilities Operations & Maintenance, Vendor & Contract Management, and Performance ManagementAbility to manage and lead team of bank employee/ budget control/ sales and productivityExposure in Strategic Planning & Decision-MakingProficiency in communication and interpersonal skills
