The Relationship Manager is responsible for expanding the bank’s corporate client base by acquiring new relationships, growing existing ones, and promoting cross-segment collaboration. This role blends client acquisition, strategic relationship development, and seamless service delivery to drive the bank’s business goals.
Responsibilities Calls and engage with select corporate accounts to identify business opportunities Acquires new-to-bank clients, especially within Top Corporates and MNCs Cross-sells relevant products across Corporate, Retail, Commercial, and Business Banking segments Assigns newly acquired accounts to appropriate Relationship Managers Monitors leads and track progress using available tools Oversees onboarding to ensure adherence to standard turnaround times Follows through until accounts are successfully transitioned Builds rapport with bank units and relationship teams to ensure effective execution and support Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, or related fields At least 3–5 years of experience in Corporate or Commercial Banking, Sales, or Relationship Management Strong knowledge of banking products and services Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills Proficiency in CRM tools and Microsoft Office Ability to work cross-functionally and handle complex account coordination
