-Job Description: Evaluate the ESG compliance of clients with the applicable requirements during due diligence, and prepare the E&S due diligence outcomes. Identify and assess opportunities related to sustainability, climate change mitigation and adaptation within BM’s clients and share them with RMs and SSF. recommend E&S corrective actions in case of non-compliance, and when needed, prepare a time-bound ES-CAP with specific monitoring procedures. Monitor the portfolio clients’ on-going compliance with the applicable requirements on a regular basis.
Establish and maintain the ESG risk database and be responsible of updating the database with the most recent informationAssess the E&S performance of BM assets and investments on an annual basis. Participate in preparing the required internal and external sustainability reporting to cover the requirements of CBE, DFIs, etc. with the relevant stakeholders. Ensure that appropriate environmental representations, warranties, and covenants are incorporated in each loan or investment agreement. Follow-up the local and international rules and regulations related to the ESG risk including climate risks.
Prepare the required ESG reports in accordance with the bank’s commitments and obligations. -Requirements: Working with DFIs and being familiar with their international standards. Such as IFC performance standards and world bank ESSs Relevant experience in climate risk identification and assessment. Raising Awareness and capacity Building programs.
