We are currently seeking a Banquet & Events Sales Manager for our business partner operating in the hospitality sector.Qualifications:Positive attitude and good communication skillsGuest service orientation -Excellent grooming standards and presentation skillsStrong leadership skills and team managementStrong analytical skills to understand business potential and competitionExcellent organisational and planning skillsAbility to ensure teamwork & motivationExperience in a similar role in a 5 star Hotel with a proven track record of minimum 3 yearsKnowledge of local market -Knowledge of Opera and Salesforce systemFluency in EnglishPassion for sales and for achieving targets and objectivesKnowledge of F&B operations & menusAbility to follow technology closely and to use MS Office, Opera and Salesforce programs,Completed military service (for male candidates)Responsibilities:Managing customer relations, visiting existing customers at regular intervals and entertaining them at the Hotel.Creating new business by making sales visits to potential customers, conducting house tours and promoting facilities and services of the property.Preparing the banquet income budget, monthly and annual reports.Developing strategies to achieve the goals set for the department and ensuring that the team implements them.Determining the banquet menus, beverages and hall rental prices according to cost, season and yield management.Ensuring that sales prices are presented and applied correctly by the entire team.Responding to incoming requests in writing and verbally and following up the requests.
