Job DescriptionAre you looking for a new challenge in a fast-paced environment? We're looking for an enthusiastic individual, with fantastic interpersonal skills, to join our friendly and professional Business Development & Marketing team in the Cayman Islands. You'll be responsible for providing support to the global Business Development & Marketing team, with the primary focus on our Cayman Islands and BVI offices. You'll assist with the delivery of the Business Development & Marketing plans for each of the practice areas, which will include coordinating events, creating external and internal communications, targeting, research, inventory and database maintenance.

About the roleCoordinate events; including organisation, logistics and execution of office and practice area marketing events Develop a good working knowledge of the external communications software, and assist with mailings and event invitationsMaintain the client relationship database to be as accurate and up to date as possible, including contacts, lists and activitiesMaintain accurate global and local marketing calendars Support the global Communications team with internal Intranet updatesMaintain marketing inventory and assist with replenishing stock as neededAssist with market research in target markets and sectorsAssist with producing in-house marketing materials with oversight of the BD ManagerSupport the BD Manager with legal directory submissionsCoordinate the staffing movements process with HR for staff changes to ensure staff and firm profiles are created and appropriately maintainedPerform any other ad hoc duties or projects as requestedRequirements:
Caymanian or holding the right to work in the Cayman Islands without a work permitTwo to three years business development and/or marketing experience and / or a degree, ideally covering a business or marketing related subjectLegal or financial services experience is preferredAttendance will be required at firm hosted events (locally) and out-of-hours flexibility is essentialFamiliarity with client relationship management systems and web content management systems Experience of working within brand guidelines is an advantageMust be proactive and driven by achieving high quality resultsExcellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication and presentation skillsUnderstanding of, and ideally experience with, providing high quality client serviceHighly accurate with acute attention to detailGood personal organisational and time management skillsProficient in Microsoft Office Suite; particularly in Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPointFull, clean driving license Benefits:
