Sheet metal Designer (Solidworks)

The company manufactures various types of LV panels, package substations, E-houses, and mobile substations equipped with Schneider Electric Equipment. Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for a Sheet Metal Designer (Solidworks) located in Erbil. The Sheet Metal Designer will be responsible for creating detailed sheet metal designs using Solidworks, drafting technical drawings, and collaborating with the engineering and production teams to ensure designs meet specifications. Daily tasks include creating and modifying 3D models and drawings, conducting design reviews, and ensuring compliance with industry standards and manufacturing capabilities.

Qualifications Proficiency in Solidworks for sheet metal designExperience with creating and modifying detailed 3D models and technical drawingsStrong understanding of manufacturing processes and industry standards for sheet metal fabricationExcellent problem-solving and analytical skillsAbility to work collaboratively with engineering and production teamsStrong attention to detail and ability to adhere to project timelinesBachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Design, or a related fieldExperience in the electrical equipment manufacturing industry is a plusProficiency in other CAD software is a plusExcellent verbal and written communication skills in English
