Job Description

Barpa Pty Ltd is a majority Indigenous owned commercial construction company. The core of our business is the construction of technical and complex facilities, which incorporate innovative design. Many of these construction projects are managed within a live operational environment and require careful and detailed planning. Our clients include various Federal and State Government departments, Universities, Councils, Not for Profits, Private Companies and Tier One contractors. We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Site Supervisor to join our team.

The successful candidate will have extensive knowledge of construction practices and techniques, and a proven track record of successful project completion. ResponsibilitiesOversee and manage all aspects of the construction site, including safety, quality, schedule, and budget. Monitor work progress and ensure that work is being carried out to the highest standards. Supervise and coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and workers on site. Liaise with the project management team to ensure that project objectives are being met. Ensure that all safety procedures and regulations are being followed on site.

Manage and maintain accurate records of site activities, including daily logs, progress reports, and inspection records. Provide leadership and guidance to the site team to ensure that work is completed on time and within budget. Requirements: Minimum of 5 years' experience as a Site SupervisorProven ability to manage and supervise construction projects. Experience working on construction project from $5m upwardsExcellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong knowledge of construction practices, techniques, and materials. Familiarity with safety regulations and procedures. Proficient in the use of project management software and tools. Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications.

Strong leadership and problem-solving skills. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Bachelor's degree in construction management or a related field preferred. Benefits and perks:
