Job Description

OverviewWe are seeking a skilled Base24EPS Administrator to join our IT operations team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing, maintaining, and supporting the Base24EPS environment, ensuring high availability, reliability, and performance for our payment processing systems. This role requires a detail-oriented professional with deep knowledge of Base24EPS, strong troubleshooting skills, and experience in mission-critical financial systems. Key ResponsibilitiesSystem Administration & SupportInstall, configure, and maintain Base24 EPS environments across test, development, and production systems. Manage system performance, availability, and capacity planning. Perform daily system health checks and monitoring to ensure continuous uptime of payment systems. Incident & Problem ManagementProvide support for Base24EPS -related incidents, including root cause analysis and resolution. Collaborate with internal IT teams and vendors to resolve system and application issues. Document incidents, resolutions, and preventive measures. Deployment & Change ManagementSupport upgrades, patches, and deployments of Base24EPS software components. Coordinate change management activities in line with company policies and regulatory requirements. Automate system administration tasks where possible. Security & ComplianceEnsure compliance with PCI DSS, company policies, and financial industry regulations. Implement security best practices for Base24EPS and associated infrastructure. Monitor logs for security anomalies and escalate issues when necessary. Collaboration & Continuous ImprovementWork closely with application developers, infrastructure teams, and business stakeholders. Provide technical expertise to support payment system projects and enhancements. Recommend and implement improvements to optimize system efficiency and reliability.  QualificationsBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field, or equivalent work experience. 5+ years of hands-on experience with Base24EPS in ATM/POS transaction switchingProven hands-on experience with Base24 EPS in production environments. Strong knowledge of Tandem/Client NonStop systems (TACL, Pathway, Client). Solid understanding of payment processing (POS, ATM, ISO8583 protocols). Experience with monitoring tools and troubleshooting methodologies. Strong scripting skills. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Ability to work in a 24/7 on-call environment. Preferred:Experience with cloud-based deployments of payment systems. Knowledge of middleware, databases (SQL/Enscribe), and networking concepts. Prior experience in financial institutions, banks, or payment service providers. Familiarity with ITIL processes for incident and change management. Soft SkillsStrong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently as well as part of a cross-functional team. High attention to detail with a commitment to delivering reliable and secure solutions. Adaptability in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.  100% Remote12-Month Contract
