SummaryAs a Batch Developer (UNIX/C/SQL) at Gainwell, you will be a part of an innovative healthcare technology company with a mission to serve the healthcare needs of our communities. You will use your programming and analytical skills to drive the development of healthcare administration products used, and relied upon, by millions of patients. Your role in our missionTake a close look at some of the details that contribute to Gainwell’s industry-leading tools and technologies in this challenging position.

Code, test, debug, implement and document moderately complex programsAnalyze, design and write specs and reqs from which we develop and code programs Evaluate existing systems and programs; assist project the manager in assigning tasks and work closely with a team Liaise with clients and management to provide technical consulting on complex programming projects, validate program requirements and resolve issues that ariseDevelop test plans and participate in QA activities such as coding reviewsParticipate as a member of a development team and lead a small sub-team of developers as neededDesign system components and delegate responsibilities to team membersWhat we're looking for3+ years of application development and batch programming using C, LINIX, UNIX and SQL (SQL Server and/or Oracle)Experience with Healthcare/Medicare/Medicaid IT systems is highly preferredExperience with all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) to include coding, testing, etc.

Experience with software design and development methodologiesWhat you should expect in this roleFully remote opportunity with the option to work anywhere within the United StatesOpportunities to travel through your work (0-10%)Willingness to work a flexible schedule to accommodate business needs and travel as requiredVideo cameras must be used during all interviews, as well as during the initial week of orientationThe deadline to submit applications for this posting is September 5, 2025The pay range for this position is $60,000 - $75,000 per year, however, the base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.
