SummaryAs a Batch Developer (UNIX/C/SQL) at Gainwell, you will be a part of an innovative healthcare technology company with a mission to serve the healthcare needs of our communities. Code, test, debug, implement and document moderately complex programsAnalyze, design and write specs and reqs from which we develop and code programs Evaluate existing systems and programs; assist project the manager in assigning tasks and work closely with a team Liaise with clients and management to provide technical consulting on complex programming projects, validate program requirements and resolve issues that ariseDevelop test plans and participate in QA activities such as coding reviewsParticipate as a member of a development team and lead a small sub-team of developers as neededDesign system components and delegate responsibilities to team membersWhat we're looking for3+ years of application development and batch programming using C, LINIX, UNIX and SQL (SQL Server and/or Oracle)Experience with Healthcare/Medicare/Medicaid IT systems is highly preferredExperience with all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) to include coding, testing, etc.
