Job DescriptionThe Digital Content Videographer & Editor is a dynamic position that will be a key content producer for the Marketing, Game Operations & Sponsorship/Community team. The successful candidate will utilize their video production, and creative expertise to ensure the Club’s digital channels and in game content are fresh and engaging while also ensuring support to our various business arms such as Ticket Sales, Partnership, Retail Operations, Community Outreach and Football Operations.
Primary Job DutiesWorking under the direction of the Manager, Digital Media, produce creative and content as assigned Work closely with the Manager of Game Operations to develop and execute entertaining in-game content for use on videoboards during games and team events Working with the Social Media Specialist to collaborate and create engaging content for all channels When possible, assist the Sr.
Manager of Communications on live event production and video editing needs Edit game footage for engaging post-game content on social channels Edit all brand-related creative content and advertising Execute and edit impactful activation content and promotion for team partners Film and edit team events Work closely with Lions’ Graphic Design team to develop and uphold brand guidelines and production design Edit promotional campaigns for team content to drive engagement across all platforms, including radio, TV and digital/social During games, be able to manage and create live content in a fast-paced quickly changing environment Other duties as assigned Required Skills And QualificationsPrimary qualification is a strong background in video editing Expert knowledge of Adobe create suite required Proficiency with DSLR videography and sound recording/editing Knowledge of the CFL with familiarity with BC Lions social voice & content Ability to produce basic motion graphics Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously Strong background working in a deadline-oriented environment Availability to work every BC Lions game day, home and away Must be able to work extended and irregular hours, including evenings and weekends as required
