Join us in connecting people and improving lives!In this BDM – IP - Chinese position Execute business development plans and processes to achieve targeted customer growth and retention rate, revenue targets and budgetsDeliver projects and initiatives to develop new business and maximize exposure for DPDHL amongst targeted prospectsUndertake market studies and feasibility studies to assess market potential and analyze target groupsProspect new business development opportunities through market research, developing marketing initiatives, etc.Initiate contact with targeted prospects, identify decision makers and work to understand strategic business challenges and prioritiesIdentify prospective customer needs and matches these with DHL’s servicesDevelop leads, conduct pre-proposal visitations, prepare difficult proposals and conduct negotiations to closeMaintain and build relationships with prospects and potential key accounts including prospects’ highest buying levels and coordinate the activities of prospect-focused teamsInitiate new business relationships with non-buying accounts that have been targeted by the companyPartner with local, district and regional management to coordinate customer requests and services that are being promotedCoordinate sales efforts with inside sales and provide flow of data on account competitors and suppliers to product managementIdentify problems that may not be clear in own area of authority and modify work methods accordingly without the benefit of defined proceduresConvince external parties to accept complete proposals and programs, typically others have an interest exists to accept new concepts, practices and approachMay provide functional guidance, advice or training to less experienced business development positionsNow, here is what we need from you!Education LevelBachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience/qualificationExperience Levelmore than 4 yearsWe offer:Opportunities in a global company where you can contribute your ideas and skills to move towards our shared goals.Possible further career developmentCompetitive salaryWhy join DHL Global Forwarding?We are part of DHL Group, the world’s leading logistics provider with operations in over 220 countries.
