About The RoleWe are looking for a dynamic and forward-thinking Manager to join our Business Advisory Services team. In this genuine client-focused role, you will lead and coach junior staff members, ensuring their professional development and success. Your high emotional intelligence and exceptional coaching skills will be key to fostering a supportive and productive team environment.

Key ResponsibilitiesLead and mentor junior staff members, providing guidance and support to enhance their skills and career progressionDeliver high-quality business advisory services to clients, leveraging your technical expertise and industry knowledgeBe a team player, collaborating with team members to develop innovative solutions and strategies for clientsManage client relationships, delivering an exceptional client experience and developing long-term partnershipsContribute to the continuous improvement of our services and processesExperienceWe are looking for someone who is experienced, has strong commercial acumen and looking for career growth with:

Proven experience in a senior accountant or assistant manager role within a Big 4 or mid-tier Chartered Accounting firmCA or equivalently qualifiedStrong technical accounting skills and knowledge of business advisory servicesThe ability to thrive in fast-paced environments and manage deadlinesExceptional client relationship management, ideally as the key client contactExperience in training, mentoring, or reviewing the work of junior team members is an advantageA desire to get involved in advisory projects, with ambitions for future leadership opportunitiesYour Future at BDO AucklandWhen you join us, we’ll make your growth our priority.
