The Trader is primarily tasked with executing the best possible price for investments of funds under the "Best Execution role". He/ She is responsible for providing market information, daily comprehensive canvasses of all pertinent investment instruments, the execution and proper booking and monitoring of all investment programs. Responsibilities: I. TRADINGA. Negotiates and executes all investments and trading functions such as but not limited to: To execute all investments at the best possible rate or priceMonitors market information such as counterparty feedbacks, trends, volumes, etc.
Summarizes collates all investment programs for various instruments from all the fund and account managers for negotiation with counterpartiesEnsures compliance of department and trading policies and practices of the different counterparties, participated in trading activities, in a manner that confirms to legal, tax , regulatory and accounting provisionsB. Monitoring of Line Utilization / and Trading LimitMonitor the purchases/ sales maturations/ pre-terminations of investment outlets such as but not limited to: Government Securities, Time Deposits, Special savings, Bonds, Commercial Papers, Loans, Mutual Funds, Exchanger Traded Funds, Equities, Foreign ExchangeII.
OPERATIONAL EFFICIENCYEnsures properly timely execution of transactions in Trust Systems (Global) plus and ideal Wealth System)Checks and review transactions encoded by Account Officers before executionPerform Other duties that may be assignedQualifications: Bachelor's degree in Banking, Finance or any related Business coursePreferably with at least 1 year experience in Trust Banking Business and 2 years experience in securities tradingOne year course in Trust Operations and Fund Management/ Treasury Certification Program for money market traderSkilled in Problem solving, decision making, communication, negotiation and data analysisThe candidate must be willing to work onsite in Makati.
