Central Supply is responsible for managing, storing, ordering, and distributing medical and facility supplies. They maintain inventory, deliver needed items to nursing and other departments, and keep a clean and proper area for stored supplies. Keep essential supplies organized and easily accessible. Follow infection control and safety protocols. Key Responsibilities: Order, receive, and store medical and facility supplies. Track inventory and restock items as needed. Distribute supplies to nursing units and other departments. Ensure all supplies are clean, labeled, and properly stored. Maintain accurate records of incoming and outgoing inventory. Comply with infection control policies and safety regulations.
Skills & Qualifications: High school diploma or GED. Prior experience is a plus. Basic computer skills Ability to lift and carry moderately heavy supplies. Good organizational and time management skills. Work Environment: Works in the central supply or storage room within the facility. Frequent walking to deliver supplies to different units. Interacts with nursing staff, housekeeping, and administrative departments.
