Your Tasks Purpose Develops and directs the Finance function across Romania, Bulgaria, and Moldova according to the regional priorities and global strategic intent for the achievement of short, mid, and long-term commercial objectives. Main Responsibilities Financial Planning & Analysis Lead the annual business planning for Romania and Bulgaria across all three business units (full P&L). Continuously update the financial planning and reporting during the year in line with latest forecasts. Controlling & Business Partnering Partner with the business functions and support them in steering their budgets during the year (trade spend, marketing budget, general expenses, etc. ).
Ensure budgets are spent to maximize impact with a focus on ROI. Provide a strong financial perspective on business decisions as a key member of the local Management Team. Foster a culture of continuous improvement within the finance function and develop the team. Financial Management & Accounting (oversight) Be the local point of contact for the centralized accounting teams and lead any interactions with local authorities. Manage fx and cashflow and support with implementation of local tax regulations or projects. Identify and assess financial risks, ensuring alignment with organizational requirements. Drive initiatives to optimize financial processes and enhance operational efficiency.
Compliance and IT Leadership and first point of contact on compliance topics across the Country Unit. Your Profile 5+ yrs. experience in Finance in a global corporation, preferably in the Controlling area University degree Strong analytical Skills First leadership experience Entrepreneurial and strong commercial orientation Strong team player, ability to operate in a matrix structure and lead by influence Language: Good verbal and written communication in English. Knowledge of Romanian is beneficial
