Position SummaryAs our Safety & Health Manager, you’ll play a critical role in creating a safe, compliant, and engaged workplace. You’ll oversee all aspects of health and safety programs while driving a proactive safety culture across the organization.
What You'll Do Program Ownership & Compliance Lead the development, implementation, and regular review of company Health & Safety policies to ensure compliance with all Federal, State, and Local regulationsManage and maintain Safety and Health Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), OSHA logs, and the PSM (Process Safety Management) programEnsure accurate documentation and timely submission of all required internal and external reports Risk Prevention & Site Safety Conduct routine jobsite visits and environmental/safety auditsInvestigate and manage incidents, accidents, and near-misses, including reporting and follow-upDevelop and enforce site- and job-specific safety plans to reduce risk and maintain complianceAssess PPE needs and ensure proper equipment is available and used Training & Team Engagement Deliver engaging safety training both in-person and online, including new hire orientationsFacilitate the Safety Committee and champion field-level involvement in safety initiativesReinforce safe practices through coaching, communication, and visibilityCultivate a positive safety culture that promotes collaboration, high morale, and accountability Cross-Functional Support & Continuous Improvement Collaborate with cross-functional teams on capital projects, new product initiatives, and equipment implementationDrive continuous improvement and sustainability efforts tied to health, safety, and environmental performanceWhat You’ll BringWe’re looking for a hands-on, proactive leader who can balance compliance, coaching, and collaboration in a fast-paced, operations-driven environment.

Core AttributesStrong project management skills with the ability to prioritize, plan, and execute across multiple initiativesA natural performance coach who leads by example and builds trustSolid technical understanding of safety and environmental compliance, paired with a proactive, team-oriented mindsetOwnership mentality with a strong sense of responsibility for outcomes and continuous improvementSkills & ExperienceAt least 10 years of progressive experience in health and safety compliance, or related fieldsExcellent interpersonal and communication skills; able to navigate challenging situations with firmness and tactStrong risk awareness with the ability to identify hazards and take immediate, appropriate actionCertified First Aid/CPR Trainer status preferredOSHA Outreach Trainer certification preferredComfortable using office equipment and standard tools (computers, phone systems, copier, etc.
)In depth understanding of the role safety plays as a key part of operational excellence and brand reputationDemonstrated customer service orientation and ability to engage employees across levelsClear understanding of organizational values and ability to model and reinforce them dailyAble to work both independently and collaboratively across departments
