Robert Half HR Solutions is currently partnering with a client that is looking to add a Benefits Administrator to their team. The Benefits Administrator will support 1400+ employees across multiple states. The experienced, detail-oriented Benefits Administrator will manage and administer all aspects of their employee benefits programs. This is a sole contributor role responsible for oversight and day-to-day execution of their medical, dental, vision, disability, and leave management plans, serving as the primary point of contact for all employee benefits queries. Key Responsibilities:Sole Benefits Administration: Own all aspects of employee benefits management in-house for 1,400 employees across multiple states.Plan Oversight: Administer medical, dental, vision, and disability plans. Troubleshoot issues, process enrollments/changes/terminations, and maintain data accuracy.Leave Management: Oversee all leaves of absence (LOA), FMLA, and ADA processes internally—assess eligibility, prepare and send required letters, monitor cases (typically 5–8 employees out at a time), and maintain compliance documentation.Workers’ Comp Coordination: Interface with the workers’ compensation vendor and coordinate integration of claims leading to FMLA or ADA cases.Open Enrollment: Lead the annual benefits open enrollment process, ensuring smooth execution, accurate communications, and data integrity.Carrier Feeds/EDI Integration: Manage carrier data feeds, troubleshoot errors, and serve as the liaison with plan carriers.Invoice Reconciliation: Review, reconcile, and process benefits invoices. Resolve discrepancies and support finance with reporting.Employee Education & Support: Serve as the subject matter expert and first point of contact for all employee questions regarding benefits, providing education and customer support as needed. This is a great opportunity to join a growing organization and work for a dynamic HR Leader!Qualifications:5+ years of hands-on experience administering employee benefits for a multi-location organization (preferred employee scope: 1,000+).Proven expertise independently managing enrollments, leaves of absence (FMLA, ADA), and open enrollment.Strong knowledge of medical, dental, vision, disability, and LOA policies and compliance best practices.Experience handling invoice reconciliation and carrier EDI feeds/connections.High attention to detail, organizational, and customer service skills.Proficiency with HRIS systems—experience with Workday and/or UKG is strongly preferred; must have in-depth experience with at least one.Effective communication skills for interacting with employees of all levels and third-party carriers.Bachelor’s degree in HR, business administration, or related field preferred.
