Who are we looking forA Marketing Compliance Manager, who will join the Marketing team in our vibrant Gibraltar office to support our global marketing operations. The role involves reviewing marketing media, initiatives and platforms for suitability based on varying gambling and advertising regulations, in addition to creating and maintaining robust processes. You will also be responsible for overseeing a team of Marketing Compliance Executives and Senior Executives and supporting their ongoing training and development. You will be highly motivated and well versed in understanding the complexities of a multi-jurisdictional operation. Preferred Skills, Qualifications and Experience Experience in team management.
Proven ability to lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team. Experience in setting team goals, delegating tasks effectively, and fostering a collaborative work environment. Extensive knowledge of compliance regulations, ideally within the gaming or regulated digital business sector. Ability to plan, prioritise and manage own work and departmental needs. Skilled in analysing existing processes and procedures to identify areas for improvement. Ability to develop and present well-supported proposals to senior management for process optimisation. Strong analytical and decision-making skills. Proven ability to motivate and manage staff through effective one-to-one and group coaching.
Skilled in providing constructive feedback and fostering professional development. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to clearly and concisely convey information to diverse audiences. Ability to translate complex regulations into clear, understandable requirements for all levels of the organisation, ensuring compliance across all departments. A proven problem solver with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues, developing creative solutions, and implementing effective strategies. Main ResponsibilitiesProviding guidance to internal teams on marketing media or practices, in line with the applicable regulations/ guidelines.
Monitoring regulatory developments in key markets and the wider online gambling landscape whilst pro-actively engaging relevant stakeholders where required. Managing 3rd party provider relationships and commercials. Maintaining up-to-date and accurate knowledge of departmental tasks, policies, procedures, and tools, and actively contribute to the development and improvement of these resources. Taking full ownership of assigned projects, managing timelines, resources, and deliverables to ensure successful and timely completion. Monitoring team projects, providing guidance, support, and resources to ensure deadlines are met and quality standards are maintained.
Overseeing and managing marketing compliance audits, both internal and external, ensuring thoroughness, accuracy, and adherence to regulatory requirements. Investigating, documenting, and resolving regulatory queries and complaints related to marketing activities, implementing corrective actions and preventative measures as needed.
