The Opportunity : We are seeking an experienced Beverage Manager to oversee all beverage operations at our club, ensuring exceptional service, quality, and efficiency across bars, lounges, and event services. This role combines leadership, creativity, and operational expertise to deliver outstanding guest experiences while maintaining cost control and regulatory compliance. The Beverage Manager will work closely with culinary, events, and management teams to create innovative beverage offerings and memorable experiences for members and guests.Duties And Functions Oversee daily beverage operations, including bars, lounges, and event services. Design, update, and manage beverage menus, including cocktails, wines, beers, and non-alcoholic options. Maintain beverage inventory; manage ordering, receiving, and stock rotation. Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations regarding alcohol service. Hire, train, supervise, and schedule bartenders and beverage staff. Monitor and maintain cost control measures, including beverage costs and labor costs. Analyze sales and profit margins; prepare regular reports for management. Foster excellent guest experiences by maintaining high service standards. Coordinate with chefs and kitchen staff for food and beverage pairing events. Manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts for beverage supply. Organize and oversee special events, tastings, or promotional beverage activities. Ensure cleanliness, safety, and proper maintenance of all beverage service areas. Qualification Standards Proven experience in beverage management, preferably in a country club, resort, or fine dining environment. Strong knowledge of mixology, wine, beer, and beverage trends. Excellent leadership and team management skills. Solid understanding of budgeting, cost control, and inventory management. Knowledge of local alcohol regulations. Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with a focus on member and guest satisfaction. Ability to organize and execute special events and promotions.
