You won’t be submitting claims yourself (we work with a billing company for that), but you will be the point person for keeping accounts current, maximizing reimbursements, and managing our financial partnerships with insurers. In this role, you will:

Take ownership of our billing systems and processes, with a focus on organization, compliance, and optimizationOversee accounts receivable to ensure timely collections and follow-ups with our billing partnerManage collections processes, balancing assertiveness with professionalismHandle CAQH attestation and ensure provider profiles are always up to dateMaintain insurance portals and accounts, logging in regularly to prevent inactivity or deactivationKeep insurance provider directories and doctor locators current across all relevant payersNegotiate reimbursements with payers and explore opportunities to improve fee schedules or contract termsInitiate autopay enrollment, and securely download and reconcile payment dataOversee EOBs (explanations of benefits) posted by our billing vendor, verifying accuracy and addressing discrepancies when neededAct as the liaison between our practice and billing company — proactively identifying issues and helping to resolve denials, delays, or mismatchesMonitor claim trends and monthly revenue reports for anomalies, underpayments, or patterns worth investigatingOversee payer credentialing or enrollment, performed by billing company, when expanding to new locations or adding providersHoursThis is a remote, part-time position.

Compensation & Growth: Starting pay: $24/hourWe conduct a 3-month performance review, with the opportunity for a pay increase based on performance, ownership, and initiative.
