The OpportunityBhagwan Marine is seeking an experienced Marine operations Manager to join our busy Melbourne based team. Duties & Responsibilities• Oversee all operational activities, including vessel scheduling, crew selection, personnel management, and logistics coordination. • Support business development initiatives in the marine sector, assisting the Regional Manager.

• Translate contractual obligations into clear, actionable deliverables. • Liaise with clients to ensure all contractual and operational deliverables are met. • Implement and uphold company policies, processes, and procedures across marine operations. • Ensure vessels are managed and maintained in compliance with statutory regulations, industry standards, and Class Survey requirements. • Conduct all management activities in accordance with relevant legislation and company policies to safeguard staff, the community, and the environment. • Promote and enforce safe work practices as defined by the Integrated Management System (IMS). • Contribute to QHSE improvement initiatives and support incident investigations alongside the QHSE Coordinator.

• Prepare periodic Operational Performance Reports and achieve regional P&L objectives. • Report major operational issues or potential risks to the Regional Manager . • Participate in the shore-based Emergency Response Team. • Collaborate with the Head of HR/IR on industrial relations matters. • Strengthen company presence by identifying new business opportunities and promoting capabilities within the region. • Provide strategic direction to Operational and Technical Teams regarding asset management and Planned Maintenance Systems. • Assist with fortnightly payroll and invoice approvals for the region. • Ensure operational continuity during staff absences by following handover notes and completing outstanding tasks promptly. • Oversee vessel certification, audits (e.

g. , OVID, ECMID, ISM, AMSA), and navigational standards. • Develop and implement operational work instructions and procedures based on audit findings. • Lead training and development initiatives to promote safe and efficient operations. • Monitor and report on vessel performance, safety, and compliance. • Maintain vessel records in accordance with IMS requirements.
