BI-Application Expert

Our client, an international organization active in the consumer goods industry, is looking for an experienced BI Application Expert to strengthen their data and analytics capabilities. The ideal candidate will take ownership of the company’s BI landscape, driving the implementation of best practices in reporting, data visualization, and data platform integration. This role offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic, fast-growing environment where data plays a central role in business decision-making.ResponsibilitiesAct as the subject matter expert within the BI domain, implementing and maintaining best practices for reporting, dashboarding, and self-service analytics.Collaborate closely with business stakeholders to identify, prioritize, and deliver enhancements to reporting and analytical tools.Maintain and evolve the company’s BI roadmap, ensuring alignment with business needs and technological developments.Design, develop, and deploy new reporting solutions that enable data-driven insights across the organization.Lead BI-related projects, ensuring delivery within agreed scope, timelines, and budget.Represent the BI function in IT and data governance initiatives and mentor junior colleagues within the team.ProfileMaster’s degree in a relevant field, with at least 7 years of experience in Business Intelligence.Strong technical expertise in SAP BW on HANA or BW/4HANA.Solid understanding of ETL architectures, BEX queries, and HANA view creation.Knowledge of SAP Analytics Cloud, Data Lakes, or Databricks is considered an asset.Strong project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage change effectively.Excellent communication skills and the ability to thrive in a dynamic environment with shifting priorities.Open to be 4 days a week on-site at the office in GhentWillingness to travel occasionally depending on project needs.OfferThis is an excellent opportunity to join a forward-thinking organization where data and analytics are key enablers of business success.
