Our culture is grounded in our core values and our very strong commitment to delivering every day for our clients and their customers, getting everyone home safely, and caring about your wellbeing.We believe the diverse work we do really matters – whether we are connecting people and businesses to complex fibre networks, supporting large industrial projects and utilities, building modular spaces in which to learn, work or play, or delivering creative events to inspire and entertain.Responsibilities:Lead the bid team, including coaching, mentoring, and motivating team members, subject matter experts, to ensure alignment with bid objectives and timelines.Develop a winning strategy in collaboration with the sales and delivery teams and ensure alignment with customer requirements.Review and analyse bid opportunities, including RFPs/ITTs and other procurement documents, to assess feasibility, risks, opportunities, and potential returns.Provide strategic guidance and direction throughout the bid lifecycle, from opportunity identification and qualification to bid preparation, submission, and post-submission activities.Manage the bid budget, resource allocations, and subcontractor/vendor relationships to optimise bid delivery.Conduct bid kick-off meetings, strategy sessions, and progress reviews to ensure effective communication, coordination, and accountability across bid teams.Continuously monitor and evaluate bid performance to identify areas for improvement and implement necessary changes. Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as industry regulations and standards.Requirements:Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as engineering or business, additional certifications in project management or bid management are a plus.Strategic thinker with strong commercial acumen and a results-oriented mindset with a focus on achieving business objectives and targets.Minimum of 3 years of experience in the general contracting industry with a proven track record of success in bid management or related field.Strong leadership and management skills with the ability to inspire, motivate, and empower bid teams to achieve objectives and deliver high-quality results.Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make sound business decisions under tight deadlinesBenefits:Pension planLife assurance – 4 times your annual salaryEmployee assistance programmeRefer a friend schemeMaternity payEmployee discounts – on hotels, gyms, electronics and moreEducational assistanceCareer progression opportunitiesLong Service Awards
