Do you thrive in high-stakes environments where collaboration, precision, and innovation are key? We’re looking for a Bid Manager to cover a fixed-term period (12m) to lead and elevate our end-to-end bid process, and we want someone who’s ready to make an impact!Ngā mahi o ia rā – Daily tasks:Lead the development and submission of high-quality, compelling bids and proposals across enterprise and government sectors supporting New Zealand’s largest organisations.Project managing the end-to-end bid process; from qualification through to submission. Manage timelines, compliance, and governance to ensure every submission is on point and on time.Collaborate with cross-functional teams including sales, legal, finance, subject matter experts, and delivery to align on strategy and execution.Maintain and continuously improve bid processes, templates, and win strategies to drive efficiency and success rates.Facilitate bid strategy workshops to assess and improve our client relationships and understand their needs and competitive positioning to develop clear and differentiated value propositions.Champion the bid function across Spark’s Enterprise and Government division.Tō wheako - Your experience:Experience working closely with B2B Sales and Commercial Teams.Proven experience managing complex bids across the entire lifecycle, ideally in B2B, enterprise, technology, or government sectors.Exceptional project management, writing, and communication skills.An ability to build teams, strategic ideas and create plans to deliver high quality outcomes.A sharp eye for detail and a strategic mindset.Ability to ask open questions to create innovative ideas that furthers the success of our sales teams.Practical knowledge of common procurement processes by government and private entities.Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple deadlines with confidence.He aha te take e uru ai koe ki a mātou – So, why choose us?Te Kanorau me te Whakawhāiti mai - Diversity and Inclusion:At Spark, we are constantly looking for ways to build a more inclusive culture.
