Region MED > Customer Project Execution, MED > Bid Management East Bid Management is, within Construction Department, responsible to ensure effective construction bids in alignment with customers' expectations/tenders specifications. Reporting to the Construction Cluster Bid Manager Leader, the Construction Bid Manager is an integral part of the Bid Management team that will work in collaboration with Construction team and Vestas functions to ensure alignment between the bids/tenders, the clients' expectations and Vestas targets for all projects/contracts performed in the overall region.ResponsibilitiesExecute construction bid response and take lead on construction scope, terms and conditions in contract negotiationsBudgeting and planning projects in collaboration with Construction departments (Project Management, Planning, Installation, BOP) and with other Vestas functions (Sales, Procurement, Transport, Technology) ensuring competitive cost alignment within the project strategy and business constraintEnsure approved construction budget (OPEC) and project programmed to be included with proposalsMaintain overview of major construction risks during sales phaseReporting, analysis and evaluation of post & precalculated results to optimize cost and profitability of Vestas projectsSupport business improvement initiatives to ensure competitive & value added solutionsDevelopment, participation in the development of new construction processes: boosting plans, platform creation, in order to find adequate opportunities for Vestas and Vestas' customersQualificationsTechnical degree in Engineering, Construction, Logistics or similarProject Management related certification (PMP or other similarMinimum of 4 to 8 years of experience in Project Management in the energy sectCommercial acumen and experience in working with bids and contract negotiationsKnowledge of Contracts Terms and ConditionsFluent in English and second European language will be ranked (French, Portuguese, Spanishh)MS Excel, Power Point, DDBB, Power BI computer skillsCompetenciesSkills in business understanding and information/data analysisRisk management, problem solving and judgment capabilitiesGood organization and interpersonal skills as well as solid communicationsAbility to adapt to a ever-growing environmentCapacity to prioritize multiple projects and adjust workload accordinglyWhat We OfferWe offer exciting work in a dynamic and international environment.
