By partnering with BidPartner, businesses can focus on their operations while we manage the complexities of the bidding process.Role DescriptionThis is a full-time hybrid role for a Bid Project Manager based in Johannesburg, with flexibility for some work-from-home arrangements. The Bid Project Manager will oversee and manage the end-to-end bid preparation process, ensuring compliance with submission requirements and timelines. Daily responsibilities include coordinating bid processes, writing and reviewing proposals, managing project milestones, and aligning bids with client specifications. The role requires collaboration with internal and external stakeholders to deliver high-quality proposals that maximize win potential.QualificationsProficiency in Bid Preparation, Bid Management, and Bid ProcessesStrong skills in Proposal Writing and reviewing complex submissionsExperience in Project Management, including planning, prioritization, and milestone trackingExcellent organizational, communication, and stakeholder collaboration skillsAttention to detail with the ability to meet tight deadlinesKnowledge of government and corporate procurement processes is an advantageBachelor's degree in Business Administration, Communications, or a related fieldKey ResponsibbilitiesLead and manage the full bid lifecycle — from opportunity identification, qualification, and capture planning through submission and post-bid reviews.Analyze RFP/RFQ/EOI documents to identify requirements, risks, and key win themes.Develop a clear bid plan and schedule, assigning tasks and ensuring all deliverables are completed on time.Coordinate internal and external stakeholders to obtain technical, financial, and operational inputs.Oversee the drafting, editing, and presentation of high-quality proposals that meet client requirements and brand standards.Manage version control, compliance matrices, and submission checklists.Conduct post-bid debriefs and maintain a central bid library, templates, and reusable content.Track bid performance metrics (win/loss rate, average turnaround time, etc.) and report insights to management.
