Turner & Townsend and CBRE work together to provide clients with the premier programme, project and cost management offering in markets around the world.ResponsibilitiesJob DescriptionReviewing RFPs and advising bid lead on requirements that impact Bid/No Bid decisionDevelop the bid plan including developing win themes with bid lead Facilitate bid Kick Off meetings with bid team and technical leadsProactively manage the end-to-end bid and review process while ensuring all contributors understand expectations for content and timelinesIncorporate local knowledge, evidence/research and adhere to writing style/branding Ensure submissions are targeted to their audience, consisting of an evidence base and innovative approach and strategy, as advised by experts across the organisation and best practiceCustomise pen profiles and CV content to better position our proposed team aligned to bid specificsProofing and editing bid response documents, ensuring the submitted information demonstrates a compelling proposition that meets the client’s needsMake sure governance process is followed, including Risk Management process and fee sign off/approvalsReview and amend draft bid considering feedback from peers and DirectorsEnsure bids are fully compliant to clients’ exact requirements by effectively reviewing bid documents as well as showcasing our abilities and experience.Create presentations for post-tender interviews, using combination of bid submission content and tailored content as required Support wider team in pipeline management activities and contribute to board reporting on pipeline, conversion, and lessons learntFollowing submission of bid, extract key information from tender to improve best practice collateral and marketing usageSkills And Behaviours RequiredProactive, clear and professional communication with internal and external stakeholders at all levelsAbility to contribute to bid/pursuit strategy and influence senior technical and commercial leaders including challenging/questioning thinking or strategy when necessary to add value to the process Experience in taking responsibility for managing their work and working with minimal supervision to achieve the outcomes required for the team Critical thinking skills to consistently develop, manage and deliver high quality bids and content on timeTime management – able to work on multiple submissions simultaneously Strong writing ability in English and Arabic including:Critically assessing existing content and editing to be more concise and persuasive, harmonising tone of voice and ensuring consistency of language and terminology Writing original non-technical content for Executive Summaries and other sections where needed Proof reading skills with a keen eye for accuracy and detail QualificationsRelevant degree in an Engineering discipline or Business, Marketing, English (list not exhaustive) Experience in MS Office suite, Skilled in Microsoft PowerPoint (required) and a design-based software such as InDesign (preferred)APMP Foundation level Certification is advantageous but not essentialAdditional InformationLocation and travelThe post holder will be based in CairoThere is currently no requirement for wider travel beyond occasional trips to UAEJoin our social media conversations for more information about Turner & Townsend and our exciting future projects:TwitterInstagramLinkedInIt is strictly against Turner & Townsend policy for candidates to pay any fee in relation to our recruitment process.
