You will be responsible for helping students with daily activities, offering moral support, and delivering tailored instruction based on their Individualized Education Plan (IEP).We are currently hiring for multiple positions across all cities in Lawndale, CADetailsIn-Person Tutoring in Lawndale, CASchedule: 10 hours, 2 sessions a week for 1 hour and 15 minsPay range is between $25 and $35Ideal Candidate Fluent in both English and Spanish (required) Strong background in special education, foundational literacy, and early math concepts Ability to teach and reinforce basic math operations (e.g., multiplication, addition, subtraction) Skilled in supporting writing development, including sentence structure and organization Patient, encouraging, and capable of adapting lessons to meet individual learning needs Experienced in creating structured, step-by-step instruction for students performing below grade level Motivational, consistent, and able to support long-term academic goals such as college preparationKey Responsibilities Provide 1:1 tutoring focused on foundational literacy, writing, and core math concepts Reinforce essential math operations and support skill-building in multiplication and basic computation Develop personalized lesson plans aligned with the student’s academic level and college readiness goals Break down complex tasks into manageable steps and provide guided practice Track progress and adjust instruction as needed Communicate effectively with the family in both English and SpanishWhy Tutor Me Education?
