For our further development within the UK market, we are seeking a key individual with a strong technical knowledge of solid wood projects.
For this position the employer is the Binderholz Bausysteme GmbH, based in Hallein, Austria. The place of employment is UK, consequently the valid taxation and social security legislation of the UK will apply to this position.
Your tasksLead cross-functional project development for the US and the Canadian market as a surplus, collaborating closely with internal teams and external stakeholders, particularly structural engineers | Act as the primary point of contact for clients throughout project lifecycles, including providing regular updates and progress reports | Plan, coordinate, and manage milestone-driven schedules for structural engineering scopes, from project initiation to construction close-out | Design and develop effective and efficient structural concepts and timber connection solutions, ensuring compliance with local building codes while emphasizing sustainability, reliability, and cost-efficiency | Create executive-level reports summarizing structural concepts and project progressYour profileDegree in civil or structural engineering or equivalent, with relevant experience in timber construction | In-depth expertise in timber structural systems, particularly Mass Timber construction such as CLT and Glulam | Strong working knowledge of engineering and construction principles, including hands-onexperience with US building codes as a surplus | Proficiency in standard structural engineering software | Proven ability to manage multiple projects and oversee construction documentation workflows | Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English | Self-motivated, proactive, and collaborative work ethicOur OfferAfter your individual training period in our successful family owned company, we offer a diversified and selfresponsible engineering position, with attractive conditions such as competitive health benefits, 401 (k) and remote work/home office opportunity with company laptop and mobile phone from any location within the USPrivacy notice:
