To coordinate and implement the Company’s Asphalt Plant Quality, Health, Safety, and Environmental (QHSE) policies and procedures across the Roads & Infrastructure projects. The QHSE Coordinator ensures project compliance with local regulations, contractual obligations, and international standards, supporting a safe, sustainable, and high-quality work environment. Key Responsibilities: Monitor and ensure implementation of QHSE policies, procedures, and systems across all projects. Conduct regular HSE inspections, audits, and site walk-throughs, and report findings with corrective action plans. Support the preparation and submission of QHSE documents, including risk assessments, method statements (RAMS), emergency response plans, and incident reports.
Coordinate with project teams, subcontractors, and site engineers to ensure safety protocols and quality standards are followed. Assist in conducting accident/incident investigations and root cause analysis, and ensure timely closure of NCRs and observations. Prepare Quality control procedures & documentation. Develop ITP, WIR, NCRs, and SORsMaintain all QHSE records, reports, and logs in line with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 standards. Conduct safety inductions, toolbox talks, and training sessions for site personnel and workers. Support environmental monitoring and ensure compliance with waste management, noise, dust, and water control requirements.
Participate in internal and external audits and assist in implementing continuous improvement plans. Act as a liaison with clients, consultants, and local authorities regarding QHSE matters. Qualifications & Experience: Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related field. Minimum 5 years of QHSE experience in roads and infrastructure projects within a main contracting environment in the UAE/GCC. Certification in NEBOSH IGC is mandatory; additional HSE/QMS certifications (ISO lead auditor, OSHA, etc. ) are a plus. Experience in Asphalt Plant and wet mix plant will be an advantageFamiliar with UAE safety regulations, local authority standards (e. g.
, ADM, RTA, DM), and QHSE best practices. Strong communication, coordination, and reporting skills. Proficient in MS Office and QHSE documentation systems.
