Job Description

Job Summary: The Performance Management Specialist is responsible for designing, implementing, and overseeing the organization’s performance management system. This role ensures that employee performance aligns with business objectives by developing frameworks, facilitating evaluations, and providing coaching to managers and employees. The specialist will analyze performance data, recommend improvements, and support a culture of continuous feedback and development. Key Responsibilities: 1. Performance Management System Development & ImplementationDesign, update, and maintain performance management policies, processes, and tools. Ensure alignment of performance metrics with organizational goals and competencies. Implement and manage performance appraisal systems (e. g. , OKRs, KPIs, 360-degree feedback).

Train managers and employees on performance management best practices. 2. Performance Evaluation & FeedbackCoordinate annual, mid-year, and ongoing performance review cycles. Support managers in setting SMART goals and conducting effective evaluations. Facilitate calibration sessions to ensure fair and consistent performance ratings. Promote a culture of continuous feedback and development. 3. Data Analysis & ReportingTrack and analyze performance trends, gaps, and outcomes. Generate reports for leadership on workforce performance and productivity. Identify areas for improvement and recommend action plans. 4. Compliance & Best PracticesEnsure performance management processes comply with labor laws and company policies. Stay updated on industry trends and innovative performance management strategies.

Benchmark against best practices to enhance the organization’s approach. Qualifications & Skills: Education & Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field. 3+ years of experience in performance management, talent management, or HR analytics. Experience with HRIS (Workday, SuccessFactors, SAP) and performance management software. Key Competencies: Strong knowledge of performance management frameworks (OKRs, Balanced Scorecard, etc. ). Excellent communication, facilitation, and coaching skills. Analytical mindset with proficiency in data-driven decision-making. Ability to influence stakeholders and drive change management. High level of confidentiality and professionalism. Preferred Qualifications: HR certification (e. g. , SHRM-CP, PHR, CIPD).

Experience in organizational development or talent management. Project management skills. Performance Metrics: Employee engagement and performance evaluation participation rates. Reduction in performance-related turnover. Improvement in goal achievement and productivity metrics. Manager and employee satisfaction with the performance process.
