With integrated capabilities and ambitious growth plans, they’re now hiring a Director – MSAT (Drug Substance) to lead a specialist team focused on upstream and downstream operations. This role will act as a key bridge between R&D, Manufacturing, Engineering, and Quality, driving internal and external tech transfer, process optimisation, and GMP-compliant production at scale. Key Responsibilities:
Lead MSAT functions covering drug substance manufacturing for biologicsDirect technical strategy for tech transfer, validation, and process improvementsOversee both internal and outsourced (CMO) manufacturing activitiesCollaborate cross-functionally to ensure project delivery, compliance, and scalabilityMonitor regulatory updates and lead continuous improvement initiativesCoach and structure a growing team to support site and network needsKey Requirements15+ years in biologics drug substance manufacturing, MSAT, or tech transferDeep expertise in upstream and downstream processing, including scale-up and tech transferSkilled in bridging process science, engineering, and manufacturing operationsProven leadership, project management, and team-building capabilityFlexible, hands-on, and excited to help shape a high-growth, GMP-focused environment
