We are looking for a Head of Data to join our team of dedicated professionals.

Your missionAs Head of Data, you will own Bisly’s end-to-end data strategy—shaping everything from infrastructure and governance to analytics, experimentation, and privacy. You’ll lead the development of a modern, scalable data platform, including pipelines, warehouses, lakehouses, and other critical systems, while ensuring data quality, modelling, observability, and compliance with privacy standards like GDPR and CCPA. You’ll also be a key enabler across the business, empowering teams from marketing to finance with tools, insights, and education.

As a leader, you’ll build and mentor a high-performing team of data engineers, analysts, and scientists, while keeping a strategic eye on emerging technologies and opportunities for innovation in AI, machine learning, and beyoKey ResponsibilitiesOwn our end-to-end data strategy - from infrastructure and governance to analytics and experimentation. Build and evolve our data platform: pipelines, warehouses, lakehouses, and whatever else makes sense. Define and drive the roadmap for data architecture, tooling, scalability, and privacy compliance. Partner with engineering, product, and operations to ensure we’re collecting and using the right data intelligently.

Lead efforts around data quality, modelling, observability, access controls, and user privacy. Develop and champion a clear metrics framework across the company (what gets measured, gets built). Help, educate and provide a data platform for teams across the company (e. g. marketing, finance, product, engineering, etc. ). Ensure our data practices meet regulatory and ethical standards (e. g. , GDPR, CCPA) and build trust in our data handling. Hire, coach, and build a strong team of data engineers, analysts, and scientists team. Keep an eye on the future—emerging tech, AI/ML opportunities, and where Bisly should invest next.

To succeed in this role, you'll have8+ years of experience in data engineering, analytics, or related fields, with at least 3+ years in a leadership roleProven track record of building and scaling modern data infrastructure (e. g. , data lakes, warehouses, real-time pipelines)Deep understanding of data architecture, data modeling, ETL/ELT processes, and data observabilityExperience with tools and technologies such as Snowflake, BigQuery, dbt, Apache Spark, Airflow, or similarStrong knowledge of data privacy regulations (e. g.

, GDPR, CCPA) and experience implementing compliant data practicesAbility to define and operationalize a company-wide metrics framework and champion a data-driven cultureExperience working cross-functionally with engineering, product, operations, marketing, and finance teamsSolid understanding of data governance, access controls, and security best practicesFamiliarity with machine learning platforms, AI integration, or driving ML use cases is a plusStrong leadership and communication skills, with a proven ability to hire, coach, and grow high-performing data teamsStrategic thinker with the ability to balance long-term vision with short-term executionWhy us?At Bisly, we value talent, innovation and collaboration.
